HI YOU! My name is Eden Benton! I am just an ordinary girl who is a lover of Jesus, His word, and testifying about His goodness. I am so glad you are here. THIS is where you belong! 

I’m 20 years old and live in the low country of South Carolina, right off of the coast! I am a junior at Liberty University, pursuing a degree in applied ministries (Christian Studies + Communications)! I’m a big family girl so most days you will find me ending the day around the dinner table with “Benton Party of 8” or on a golf cart ride downtown to get ice cream. 

I am an enneagram seven and have been told that I'm the life of the party! My favorite drink is Diet Coke and you are likely to find me in a pair of sneakers. I love to travel (TAKE ME ANYWHERE) and you can be sure I'm vlogging! I have a passion for people + life and never want to miss a moment. My happy places are the beach, new coffee shops, and my nose deep in a book. 

My heart is to serve. Most days of the week my time goes to serving the local church. I lead my church's high school girls on Sundays, as well as helping lead our student ministry as a whole. During the summer I get to lead our college girls in a bible study and that brings me great joy. During Sunday service you will find me with a camera in my hand and after you can find me in the Connect Room, connecting new members to the ministries within our church. I have a passion for seeing people come to know Jesus and grow in their relationship with Him, so whatever way I get to be a part, SIGN ME UP!

You don't have to be around this place long to see that I'm a words girl. Words have changed my life. Words are a gift. Words bring either life or death. I pray that my words give you LIFE. Not a temporary feeling, but rather a truth that is built on the firm foundation of God's word. I stake my life on scripture. I stand solely on its authority. I know I cannot live without it. It's my hope that through this space, you will fall in love with it too.

If you've come here, looking for a perfect girl, this is not the place. This is a place for the girl who is imperfect and needs Jesus; I am that girl. We all need Him. And I pray this is a community where I can point you to the greatest love I've ever known, Jesus. He has saved my life, put a new song in my heart, and purposed me to point others to Him in a way that brings Him glory. 

I pray my life is marked by being constant, steadfast, joyful, set apart, and living only for an audience of one. I want Jesus to find me as a woman of deep integrity, character, and convictions. You are welcome in this place, my friend! Thank you for being here!
