You can be in God’s word and not in his will.
Us Christian’s are good at being spiritual- we know all of the right things to say & we play the part well. And that’s a scary place to get…Countless times in scripture we see people who are speaking directly to God Himself, yet choose to be disobedient. God met Jonah and gave him clear direction to go to Nineveh, yet just a few verses after that command… "But Jonah got up and went in the opposite direction to get away from the Lord.” Jonah 1:3 We cast stones at Jonah, but we are him. Often we are close in proximity to God but far in obedience. We read God’s word and mold it to fit into our version of truth. God’s word was meant to be read to change us not for us to change it.

Follow Jesus. Not the opinions of a loud world.
Follow Jesus. Not a false gospel.
Follow Jesus. Not the crowd.
Follow Jesus. Not what’s easy.
Follow Jesus. Not what makes sense.
God is not a God of confusion, but clarity. Peace is found his way, not chaos. Obedience is costly, but obedience is worth it. Count the cost wisely.
