For the girl who’s hiding.

Man may not see what’s hidden in the darkness of your private life, but rest assured that God does. Maybe you’re hiding in sin. Maybe you’re hiding who you really are. Maybe you’re hiding ______. Hiding brings loneliness. Hiding brings shame. Hiding brings fear. Hiding brings separation. When Adam and Eve sinned in the garden, they hid from God because of their shame. The enemy is crafty. He knows that if he can get you to believe lies like…

“ you’re the only one who struggles with this.”

“How could you do something like this? You failed yet again.”

“Only if people knew what you’re hiding, you would be so ashamed.”

… then he can keep you in the darkness by yourself, without any hope of escaping to the light. The last thing the devil wants is for you to walk in the freedom that is yours in Christ. He wants to keep you in bondage, feeling absolutely helpless. God’s word promises that what is done in the dark, WILL be brought into the light. The enemy plays in the dark. Let Jesus come rescue you. You are made to be a daughter of light. Let Jesus in & let others in. That’s where true freedom and healing is found. You may not have the courage to take a step towards light, but the holy spirit will be bold within you on your behalf. Where we’re weak, Jesus is strong. Sister, don’t believe the lie that you cannot be free. That does not have to be your story. Your story can be rewritten. You can be forgiven and shame no longer has to have a hold on you. It is possible. Would today be the day that you let the light in?

For all my days, EDEN B
